Johann Sebastian Bach regularly played the Wender organ in the secularized Brückenkloster in Mühlhausen. When the monastery was demolished in 1884, the organ was moved to the All Saints' Church and about a hundred years later to Dörna to the baptismal church of the organ builder Wender. Under the direction of an active association, the instrument was reconstructed there by the Dresden organ builder Kristian Wegscheider and sounded again for the first time in 2001.
