Gotha City Baths
Gotha City Baths
The Stadt-Bad is an individual monument as defined by the Thuringian Monument Protection Act and is therefore part of the Thuringian Monument Register. It was opened on September 21, 1908 and is thus part of the history of public and town baths. For its guests at the time, it offered shower and bathtub baths of various classes and the opportunity to have laundry cleaned. Bathing was separated by gender.
The historic part of the building was renovated from 2010-2014 in keeping with its listed status and is available to guests with the special flair of late Art Nouveau for a break in an extraordinary ambience.
Many features have been preserved, such as the sea motif tiles, leaded windows and the original tepidarium. Discover the beauty of times long past. This uniqueness is due to the successful combination of the historical parts of an Art Nouveau bath, which flow seamlessly into the modern extensions.
