Founded as a public swimming pool in 1906, it was extensively modernized in 1996. Today it attracts visitors with its modern stainless steel pool, sports and adventure area, giant slide and diving tower. For the little ones there is a paddling pool.

Two snack bars provide for the physical well-being and for the necessary security in and around the water the lifeguards of the DRK- Wasserwacht Querfurt. Public events such as the 24-hour swimming event are held regularly in the town pool. Parking spaces are available in the neighboring parking lot of the Haus der Vereine.
