The magnificent building in the early Renaissance style was destroyed during the Second World War. When it was rebuilt in 1968-1971, the historic façade was restored, but the interior was modernized. This building has been in municipal hands since 1432 - with changing uses. Today it houses the Weimar Tourist Information Office. The store has a large selection of Weimar souvenirs. Tickets can also be purchased here. The tourist information office also offers free and independent booking services for overnight stays and assists with the planning of conferences, seminars and group trips.
