As early as the 17th century, beer was brewed for the numerous blacksmiths, knife grinders and craftsmen in the community brewery in Steinbach. A long dry period began in 1890 and brewing ceased. 130 years later, the Stupps beers continue the old brewing tradition in Steinbach. A courageous team of beer enthusiasts embarked on an adventure and founded a brewery in the middle of the small mountain village. Their aim: to supply the local area with fresh, unadulterated beers once again. The Stupps brewery combines traditional craftsmanship and modern brewing technology in a unique way. This is how Stupps beer is created: unfiltered and fresh.
