Tastings
Tastings
1090 is the date of the first documentary mention of Taistingen (Tastungen). Tastungen is a small municipality at the foot of the Ohm Mountains. The district stretches from the Hahletal valley to the Trogberg (502.9 m), the north-western pillar of the Ohmgebirge. The Glockengraben reservoir is located to the west. Neighboring villages are Wehnde to the north, Ferna to the south and Teistungen to the west. The charm lies in the unique landscape. Particularly worth seeing in Tastungen is the interior design of the "St. Gallus" church.
