With their crystal-clear water and excellent visibility all year round, the gravel lakes in Nordhausen are no longer an insider tip among divers. The Action Sport Nordhausen diving center offers a wide range of activities at the Möwen and Sundhäuser lakes.

Lake Sundhäuser is up to 31 meters deep, with a varied underwater landscape and many animals such as perch, pike, trout and crayfish. The specially created underwater town of Nordhusia and sunken boat wrecks also promise exciting dives.

The neighboring Möwensee lake is even deeper at up to 46 meters, with impressive visibility opening up views of passing perch, rudd, carp and crayfish. The Nordhausen diving center offers many training courses for beginners and advanced divers as well as trial dives in the indoor pool.
