The waterwheel-driven forge, built more than 500 years ago, is one of the most valuable industrial monuments after extensive restoration. 5 large drop hammers, rolling mill, punching mill, grinding mills and annealing furnaces, which are still functional today, are driven by 4 oversized water wheels.

A special attraction is one of the largest steam engines in Europe. Experience one of the largest technical monuments to heavy engineering on the banks of the Ohra river in one of the most beautiful metal sculpture parks covering 18,000 square meters.

The sculptures on display here were created as part of the annual metal design symposium by international artists and metal designers under the old hammer mill.

The museum will be temporarily closed for extensive repair and renovation work.
