The Teufelskanzel, which can only be reached via field and hiking trails, is a striking rocky outcrop approx. 800 m south-east of Paska on the southern slope of the Lasterberg above the eastern Hohenwarte reservoir. It is located in the center of the Ziegenrück hollow, which consists of Lower Carboniferous sediments (thin-plate clay shales with greywacke beds).
