The Frömel pottery produces utility and decorative ceramics in Bürgel blue and white, brown with white incised decoration (matt) and blue with white incised decoration (glossy). Approximately 95 percent of the products are made by free throwing on the potter's wheel, the remaining 5 percent, such as oval bread pots or butter dishes, by casting in prefabricated plaster molds.

The incised decoration was used by the Bürgel ceramist Carl Fischer, who died in 1967, to decorate his vessels and was later continued in the PGH des Kunsthandwerks. Due to the amount of work involved, this type of decoration was abandoned in Bürgel in 1990.
