Warm food, warm hearts - it's as simple as that.

In the middle of the beautiful Thuringian Forest at 842 meters above sea level. directly on the traditional Rennsteig, known for its magnificent view, the 33-meter-high Rennsteigwarte and above the idyllic climatic health resort of Masserberg, stands the Tower building.
The family-run restaurant offers a spacious sun terrace and an extensive outdoor area with a small children's playground.
In winter, the directly adjacent cross-country ski trails and rolled forest paths Skiers and walkers alike are invited to visit to warm up with mulled wine or Jagertee. 
The kitchen offers a small but fine menu with changing dishes of the day, where the original Thuringian bratwurst is of course a must. Whether young or old - everyone is well catered for here.
The cake is of course baked in-house.
