Ütteroda, located to the north-east of Krauthausen, dates back to the turn of the millennium. It was first mentioned in a document in 1250. The center of the village is characterized by the historic buildings of the church (built around 1560) and the malt house. Today, Ütteroda is a village in an idyllic rural setting.
