Jena public baths
Jena public baths
The Volksbad Jena is an extraordinary, creative venue with state-of-the-art technology, ideally located in the center of the university city and opposite the Jena-Paradies train station. Here you can experience culture: voices and new sounds from all over the world, comedy and chanson from Germany as well as poetry and prose by young authors. The unique atmosphere of the former bathing hall also offers a sophisticated setting for company presentations, congresses and receptions.
The Volksbad was inaugurated in 1909, closed as a bathing temple in 2001 and has established itself as a venue for special events since its reopening following renovation in 2007.
