Plenty of space for parallel events
The traditional Volkshaus is a concert, gala and conference venue in the heart of Jena. With over 100 years of history and the lovingly preserved original architecture with Art Nouveau elements, the historic building of the Volkshaus Jena fascinates all its guests.
The centerpiece of the Volkshaus is the large plenum hall, which is named after Ernst Abbe. The venerable ambience with faithfully restored Art Nouveau elements and excellent acoustics provides the perfect setting for conferences and other events.
Seven rooms are available for parallel events, workshops or seminars in the adjacent tower building. These can be extended to eleven rooms if required, as some areas can be divided by partitions. This makes it possible to react flexibly to the respective requirements of the event organizers.
Four spacious foyer areas with over 1,200 m² are suitable for meetings, exhibitions and catering. With its columns and round arches, the Max-Reger-Halle in the entrance area of the hall building is particularly stylish. The other foyer areas can also be used as adjoining rooms, depending on the conference format.
There is sufficient space on the first floor of the tower building for setting up a conference office, for speaker support and for participant registration.
Located opposite the „Goethe Galerie“ business and shopping center, the Volkshaus is quick and easy to reach by all means of transport.
