The Sängerwiese forest hostel is located in the midst of fantastic nature in the Thuringian Forest. The hostel at the foot of Wartburg Castle is an ideal starting point or stopover for hikes and cycle tours on the Rennsteig, the Drachenschlucht and Landgrafenschlucht or in the Werra Valley.

Two lovingly designed vacation apartments in country house style promise a relaxing and varied vacation whether in the town of Eisenach with Luther House, Bach House or the Automobile World or in the countryside with Wartburg Castle, Rennsteig or Werratal.

This traditional inn has been a popular destination since 1927. The rustic inn impresses with its warm hospitality, cool drinks from the region, Thuringian culinary delights and, of course, grilled Thuringian bratwurst.

The Sängerwiese owes its name to a singing festival in 1847, at which over 1200 singers competed.
