The Waldbad in the Suhl district of Goldlauter-Heidersbach is aptly named. It is located on a slight slope at approx. 630 m above sea level on the outskirts of Heidersbach and yet in the middle of nature.

Due to its south-western hillside location, the baths enjoy sunshine almost all day long, but also have shady spots thanks to its old trees. You can see far over the hills and forests of Suhl with its striking Ringberghotel. The baths are fed by a spring and the water is crystal clear.

There are plenty of meadow areas and benches for regeneration.

If you prefer to get active, you can play volleyball, table tennis or badminton.

You can also walk over floating mats, occupy the floating islands or swim with flippers. Everyone can test their balance on the slackline. Even the little ones can slide, seesaw, swing or climb on the lawn, play in the sandpit or practice with various swimming aids in the non-swimmer's pool. A kiosk provides many snacks.

Many events take place: such as open-air cinema, balance of emotions, beach party, concerts.
