Directly at the end of Neuhaus am Rennweg in the direction of Steinheid is a large parking lot on the edge of the forest. This invites you to tackle various hiking trails. The most famous is probably the Rennsteig. Also the Rennstegbaude and the forest bath Berhardsthal are to be reached from here in few minutes.
