In Spichra - in the direction of Pferdsdorf - is the listed hydroelectric power station. The plant was built by Wasserkraft AG between 1923 and 1925. It was commissioned in October 1925. The plant was extensively reconstructed by Thüringer Energie AG in 1997. A fish lock was built in 2009 and the pedestrian bridge at the weir in 2011. The cycle and hiking trail to Pferdsdorf leads over this bridge.
