Watzdorf is a district of Bad Blankenburg. (incorporated 1950)

About two and a half kilometers west of Bad Blankenburg, nestled in the picturesque Rinne valley, lies the district of Watzdorf. It is best known for its traditional and specialty brewery, which has had the right to brew beer since 1411. It is well worth taking a tour of the brewery and visiting the brewery museum.
