Weimarhallenpark
Weimarhallenpark
The municipal park at the Weimarhalle is part of the Asbachgrünzug ensemble. It was first mentioned in the 15th century as a ducal tree garden. In the 18th century, it was leased to Friedrich Justin Bertuch, a merchant of Goethe's time. At the beginning of the 20th century, it became municipal property. Today, the park is not only used by the congress centrum weimarhalle to access the city via the terraces, but is also a popular recreational area. In summer, open-air concerts and festivals enliven the green oasis.
