Westhausen is a municipality in the Heldburger Land in the district of Hildburghausen in the Franconian south of the Free State of Thuringia. The town belongs to the administrative community of Heldburger Unterland, which has its administrative headquarters in Bad Colberg-Heldburg. The municipality also includes the district of Haubinda.
