Wittelsbach Tower
Wittelsbach Tower
The Wittelsbach Tower stands on the 400 m high Scheinberg south of Bad Kissingen. From up here, you have a wonderful, sweeping view over the Saale valley and the town center in the distance. Let your gaze wander over the wooded hills and come to rest. A hike through the beautiful, tranquil forests around the Wittelsbach Tower is also well worthwhile.
The Wittelsbach Tower was built in 1906 as a thank you to the Wittelsbach royal family, as their commitment ultimately helped Bad Kissingen achieve its worldwide reputation as a spa resort. Right next door, the brewery with its large terrace invites you to enjoy Franconian cuisine and home-brewed Wittelsbacher Turm Bräu.
