Wurzbach
Wurzbach
The small vacation town of Wurzbach lies in the dreamy Sormitz valley. Wurzbach was first mentioned in a document in 1250. Wurzbach gradually took on a town-like character through the knightly fief village. The oldest trade was that of the hammersmith. The Heinrichshütte was built in 1729 and has been preserved for posterity as a "technical monument". Wurzbach has been a tourist destination for decades, with 120 km of signposted hiking trails inviting you to enjoy the nature of the charming low mountain range landscape in healthy and spicy air.
