The gardener's house at the foot of the Bergfried Park is the oldest house on the former garden site. The exhibition contains a wealth of information about the park and Villa Bergfried as a whole. Visitors can also learn more about chocolate production in Saalfeld and the life of chocolate manufacturer Karl Ernst Hüther and his family in the 1920s.

A special highlight is a virtual 360-degree tour of the villa's rooms, a multimedia image show of old and new views in and around the building and a drone flight over the entire Bergfried Park.

A historic chocolate machine from the manufacturer Hüther has chocolate bars on display in the exhibition. These were produced in the Saalfeld chocolate factory and are available in a limited edition with various Bergfriedpark motifs in milk and dark chocolate.
