Gerstenberg
Gerstenberg
Gerstenberg was first mentioned in documents in 1227 as Gerstenberch and in 1233 as Gerstinberg. The town's landmark is the small village church, which has been perched on a hill and visible from afar since 1472. Gerstenberg is located on one of the oldest long-distance trade routes in central Germany, the Peter-Pauls-Weg.
