Hundeshagen
Hundeshagen
Hundeshagen was first mentioned in a document in 1282, when the Lords of Westernhagen received the patronage of the church. The village belonged to Kurmainz until secularization in 1802. The village is also known as the "village of musicians", as many of its inhabitants earned their living as itinerant musicians from the 17th century onwards. In the process, they developed their own secret language - "Kochum". Hundeshagen was incorporated into the town of Leinefelde-Worbis on July 6, 2018.
