Susanne Holter Farm
Susanne Holter Farm
Handmaker Susanne Holter and her family run the farm in Esperstedt, which has over 100 years of tradition. It is particularly important to her that her work can be experienced in order to bring today's agriculture and consumers closer together again and promote mutual understanding.
That's why the gates to the raspberry field are opened every year from July. Here, the sweet fruits can be harvested fresh by hand. Various varieties of pumpkins and corn as well as sunflowers are also offered for self-harvesting and from the farm. You can also find eggs from happy chickens, which are kept in a mobile free-range system and get plenty of fresh air and good food.
In Handmacher Alexander Müller's farm store in Querfurt, you can find various products from Susanne Holter during the season. And Christian Hodel's raspberry liqueur from Liederstädt proves that Holter's regional raspberries, freshly harvested from the field, are a wonderful basis for a fruity liqueur.
