As the Etzdorfer Hof places great importance on preserving regional craftsmanship, some of the tasty dishes in the dining areas are served on local ceramics, for example on pottery by Brigitta Wühst. Original Köstritz beer is served in beer mugs - after all, the brewery is only a few kilometers away. And after a hearty meal, the Etzdorfer Kutscherbitter, an aromatic herbal liqueur made on the premises, is extremely popular.
The country-style Hofschenke is open daily. The restaurant with its cross-vaulted ceiling and elaborately restored natural stone walls is an ideal venue for groups and celebrations. In addition to the tastefully furnished hotel rooms, the farm also has a farm museum, an adventure playground, a riding school with pony rides for children, a bowling alley and parking spaces for mobile homes. The beautiful natural surroundings on the heath plateau can be explored on foot or by bike on extensive hiking trails, including a picnic in the countryside if desired.
