The Nicolai & Sohn whiskey distillery was established in 2018 at Erfurt Kulturbahnhof Zughafen and opened in summer 2020. The distillery places a high value on traditional craftsmanship without "technical gimmicks". The production steps can be viewed during a tour through the preserved industrial architecture of the old freight station.
