Parish church "Zum heiligen Kreuz" Dielsdorf
The parish church "Zum heiligen Kreuz" is located in Dielsdorf, a district of Schloßvippach. The baroque plastered hall church from the 18th century was built incorporating older structures from the 12th century. It has a retracted tower to the west and an attached sacristy to the east. The church was rebuilt in 1790, 1791 and the 19th century. The nave, built of plastered quarry stone, is covered with a mansard roof. The interior has two-storey galleries and is spanned by a wooden barrel vault. The pulpit altar has four columns with leaf capitals and a cranked entablature. The pulpit basket is decorated with rocailles. The simple baptismal font bears the inscription 1508. The cupboard in the sacristy was built around 1600. The bell was cast around 1300. The organ with 13 stops, spread over 2 manuals and pedal, was built around 1870 by an unknown organ builder.
