The St. Lorenz Church in Probstzella is an important architectural monument.

The oldest part of the building is the late Gothic tower basement with pointed arch vaulting. The nave with mansard roof was built in 1755. The spire in the form of a welsh dome was built in the 18th century.

A baroque pulpit altar from the time the nave was built is remarkable inside the church.

The church can be visited for services and by appointment.

The Bauhaus Hotel "Haus des Volkes" is located nearby and offers the opportunity to stop for a bite to eat.
